I started Mahjong with Kristen to share the joy of mahjong with others. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned player, I love helping people learn, grow, and find community around the table. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students, hosting events, and building a beautiful network of mahjong-loving friends.

what is mahjong?
Mahjong is a game that originated in China in the 1800’s. It was then standardized by a group of Jewish women in NYC in the 1930’s. They created the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) and the game we know today as American Mahjong.
Mahjong is a way for so many to connect, laugh, and de-stress. It’s so much more than just a game!
